Responding to Retail Demand
Over the past two decades, the retail market for rubber gloves has expanded rapidly, both for industrial and for domestic usage. The industrial sector has rapidly responded to rigorous healthy and safety legislation to protect its workforce and the goods it produces. Domestically, improved knowledge concerning hygiene and the protection of the family from bacteria means rubber gloves are now found in just about every household, in bright attractive colors, in all shapes and sizes.
Major supermarket and hardware chains, wholesalers, cash & carry’s, local “mama & papa” stores all display a wide range of products, and the competition between brands and own label lines is intense. This, in turn, has led to higher R&D investment, better quality products and competitive pricing policies, all of which have been recognized and acted upon by TK Bosaeng, South East Asia’s leading manufacturer.
We have built partnerships with various customers. As well as building our own brands, we have been supplying to various well known companies under their own label. Our flexible manufacturing facilities, and renowned product quality means we can guarantee OEM specifications at highly competitive prices.
Rubber gloves in retail are fast moving consumer goods and we at TK Bosaeng Glove understand the importance of the following characteristics:
- High volumes
- Extensive distribution networks
- High stock turnover
TK Bosaeng Glove in Thailand
Our decision to relocate to Thailand was very much influenced by these market dynamics. In particular:
Raw material quality: Thailand is routinely recognized for producing the best quality latex in the world and our production site is situated next to some of Thailand’s best rubber plantations. This gives us the consistency and superiority of quality demanded by retailer and end-user alike.
Costs: By sourcing all the necessary materials in Thailand and ensuring that our facilities are cost effective, we are able to offer competitive prices.
Flexibility: Our facilities are purposely designed to produce a wide range of sizes, thicknesses and colors, sometimes in short production runs, to meet the needs of our customers.
Logistics: We know – and concur with – the unstinting demands from retailers to have the right products at the right place in a timely manner.
Our site is deliberately located close to Thailand’s major sea and land transport hubs which allows us move product swiftly. As well, we have built a comprehensive global logistics network that allows us to efficiently supply rubber gloves anywhere in the world.
We can, and do, produce quality rubber gloves, in different sizes, colors and specifications across all trade sectors – wholesale, retail and end user, both for household and industrial use.
These factors, together with our quality reputation built over the past 30 years, have delivered successful growth for our “Max power and Soson” brands and for our many OEM (own label) customers.

Benefits of using us! OEM factory & manufacturing
- Cost savings – Companies save on their cost of capital because they do not have to pay for a facility and the equipment needed for production. They can also save on labor costs such as wages, training and benefits. Some companies may look to contract manufacture in low-cost countries, such as Thailand, to benefit from the low cost of labor.
- Mutual benefit to contract site – A contract between the manufacturer and the company it’s producing for may last several years. The manufacturer will know that it will have a steady flow of business until then.
- Advanced skills – Companies can take advantage of skills that they may not possess, but the contract manufacturer does. The contract manufacturer is likely to have relationships formed with raw material suppliers or methods of efficiency within their production.
- Quality – Contract manufacturers are likely to have their own methods of quality control in place that helps them to detect counterfeit or damaged materials early.
- Focus – Companies can focus on their core competencies better if they can hand off base production to an outside company.
- Economies of scale – OEM manufacturers have multiple customers that they produce for. Because they are servicing multiple customers, they can offer reduced costs in acquiring raw materials by benefiting from economies of scale. The more units there are in one shipment, the less expensive the price per unit will be.
We are a leading supplier for top brands

Rubber gloves made from natural rubber have been with us since the end of the 19th century, to address a longstanding need for cleaner practices and barrier protection. The key characteristics of elasticity, flexibility, strength, resilience and heat resistance made rubber an ideal material for gloves at a time when industry, agriculture and fishing were burgeoning sectors, employing large numbers of workers. In early days, the lack of technology limited the potential for rubber gloves to heavy industries, where dexterity was, perhaps, not overly important, but the benefits were widespread, and research and development has led to a vast range of rubber gloves for use in industrial and domestic environments.
Rubber Gloves Awareness
During the 20th Century, increased awareness of infection, viruses and toxicity demonstrated that rubber gloves had a critical role beyond just protection from abrasions and cuts. Nowadays, few homes would be found without gloves for use in domestic chores, and usage in lighter industries is now almost mandatory as Health and Safety Standards become more rigorous, and worker protection gains the recognition it warrants. It would now, for example, be almost impossible to imagine a food industry – from harvesting through processing and distribution – operating without the basic safety measure of rubber gloves.
Household Gloves & Industrial Gloves Use
Household rubber gloves have been used for washing dishes and cleaning in the home since the 1960s. Many different designs of gloves have been available in a multitude of colors but traditional designs are yellow or pink with long cuffs. While these still remain the most popular patterns today, gloves can be obtained that range from wrist-length to those that are shoulder-length. There are even gloves that are pre-attached to shirts and bodysuits for added protection.
Rubber gloves are best worn with a skin tight fit which, while still allowing for the hands to breathe, makes it easier to hold objects and manipulate them. The palms and fingers usually have a raised pattern which helps provide a good grip when handling objects. Wearing gloves protects the hands from harsh detergents and other cleaning products which are used in the home and elsewhere.
These gloves are traditionally used by people cleaning in the home and are popular with professional cleaners and for clearing up in shops, cafes and other public places. The thickness of the gloves and the long cuffs provide excellent protection for all general cleaning tasks and are useful for all chores where the hands need to be put into water, and provide protection when vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
The most common material used for making household gloves is latex, a form of rubber. Unlined gloves feel better on the skin and provide a greater ability to manipulate things. They are available in a wider range of colors and cuff lengths.
Latex Gloves and industrial gloves are used in the food service Industry for minimizing contact with ready to eat foods. Generally, foodservice employees are required to wash hands before starting work or putting on single-use gloves.
Rubber Gloves are sometimes used in childcare during the diapering/ toileting process to protect the caregiver from coming in contact with the child’s fecal material/urine. Fecal matter in particular as it is known to carry many diseases. Many caregivers use gloves while touching the child’s buttocks or genitals when wiping or applying creams.
Led by companies like TK Bosaeng Glove, Asia’s leading natural latex glove manufacturer, the rubber glove industry has responded impressively, with a heavy commitment to research and development. At TK Bosaeng Glove, we now offer an extensive range of OEM gloves and branded gloves, all made from natural latex, for a multitude of uses. As well, we have the capability and flexibility, in our modern Thailand-based facilities, to produce tailor-made products for individual clients. We are committed to manufacturing consistently high quality rubber gloves at very competitive prices, backed by a highly efficient global logistics network that ensures we deliver quickly and effectively. In the construction industry there is an important part where construction gloves play a vital role. Workers are required to do tasks where their hands are invariably the primary tools of their trade – and studies suggest that 25% of lost-time injuries involve the hands. It is obvious, then, that rubber gloves can play an important protective role in the industry.
The industry, of course, covers a broad and diverse range of occupations – builders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, concrete layers, painters, to name a few. Often, workers are self-employed, without any recourse in the event of injury.
Did you know?
Each profession exposes technicians to different risks, but perhaps the most common is dermatitis where continual wetting and drying of the skin, as well as handling some particular substances will cause the skin to dry out, flake, split and crack. Cement, abrasive hand cleaners, solvents, saw dust, fiberglass, glues and adhesives, putty and sealants and friction from using machinery are all potential causes of dermatitis, all of which can be protected against by wearing latex gloves.
As well, once the skin is damaged with dermatitis, it increases the chance of developing further problems, particularly from allergens. Common allergens in the construction industry include epoxy resin and hardeners; chromate in cement; formaldehyde resins in the manufacture of chipboard; chemicals used in paints, stains and varnishes; turpentine; wood glues – an extensive list that demonstrates the breadth of tasks involved in the construction industry where the wearing of gloves should be essential.
With any work glove users want something that will deliver on hand protection and performance, and yet be barely noticeable. TK Bosaeng Glove is one of Asia’s leading glove producer, and has been providing protection in the workplace for more than 30 years. We offer a wide range of natural latex gloves specifically designed for use in all sectors of the construction industry. Our gloves are fully tested for consistency and durability, and, with our production site very close to Thailand’s high regarded natural rubber plantations, we know we can offer the best quality at highly competitive prices.

Gloves in veterinary clinics and breeding farms
Veterinary gloves, farming gloves, & breeding farms gloves play a vital role in the industry. The use of latex gloves in the medical profession is globally recognized; protection of both staff and patients is of paramount importance. However, in veterinary clinics and on breeding farms there has been a slower acceptance of the need for protective gloves – a recent survey in Australia suggests that a third of veterinary practices in Australia don’t have complete infection control kits available, 25% don’t provide any training to staff about their use and 45% of vets had contracted infections from animals during their careers.
Gloves Protection against diseases & infections
Diseases spread between animals and people (known as zoonotic diseases) are very common. Scientists estimate that more than 6 out of every 10 known infectious disease and 3 out of every 4 new or emerging infectious disease in people are spread from animals. Zoonotic diseases can be caused by germs including viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi and can cause many different types of illnesses in people and animals ranging from mild to serious. And, of course, one of the inherent risks in the practice of veterinary medicine and on breeding farms is exposure to zoonotic agents.
Typically those employed in the sectors will be examining and, perhaps, carrying out surgery on a wide range of animals. From exposure to cat scratches and bites right through to handling venomous snakes, the potential for exposure is high, and glove protection fundamentally important. Disposable latex gloves are the most common but sometimes thicker gloves with more protection are required in which case industrial gloves are preferred.
Rubber Gloves Manufacturer (TK Bosaeng Glove)
TK Bosaeng Glove is one of Asia’s leading suppliers of natural rubber gloves and offers an impressively wide range, suitable for Veterinary gloves, farming gloves, & breeding farms gloves and most industrial usage. We pride ourselves on producing consistently high standard products and our total commitment to quality is reflected in the accreditations we have been awarded. Agriculture Rubber Gloves
In the agriculture and farming industries, workers are typically involved a a wide range of tasks where rubber gloves are necessary as a protective barrier. Working with livestock, handling chemicals such as herbicides and disinfectants, dealing with contaminated soil, using agricultural machinery, are all areas that can cause injury and harm.
Livestock handlers need to ensure they are not passing diseases from infected animals to healthy animals; in the dairy farming sector, in particular, rubber gloves help prevent the spread of bacteria – key where a sick animal is unproductive until it can be brought back to health.
During the handling of plants and plant products, latex gloves provide protection for workers from fertilizers pesticide residues, soil contamination and from cuts and abrasions.
Agricultural machinery has the potential to seriously injure workers and protection of the hands is critical. Tractors, grain augers, hay balers, and combine harvesters can cause extensive soft tissue and bone trauma within seconds, and therefore protective gloves must be able to resist punctures, impacts, and crushing forces.
Within the agricultural and farming sectors, it is also important to bear in mind that rubber gloves should be used by veterinarians and government and private inspectors, for self protection and to ensure the integrity of agricultural facilities.
With all the potential hazards that come with working in the agriculture industry, finding a glove that can stand up to environments filled with chemicals, bacteria, and other contaminants is essential.
Manufacturer of Rubber Gloves
At TK Bosaeng Glove, we have been manufacturing industrial natural rubber gloves for over 30 years, and have invested heavily in research and development to ensure our products are suitable for the needs of most industrial sectors. Natural rubber provides the optimum balance between protection and flexibility. It possesses excellent tensile, stretch, and tear-resistant qualities and is highly elastic and flexible, forming a very tactile hand fit. Also, natural rubber gloves, unlike their synthetic counterparts, are bio-degradable and friendlier to the environment.

Choosing right gloves is very important for many reasons. It has been conclusively proven that the most common type of workplace injuries affect hands and fingers – over a quarter of recordable workplace injuries. Gloves, especially natural rubber gloves, obviously offer the best security, but the choice of glove is key to offering the best balance between safety, ease of use and dexterity. The choice will inevitably depend on the application (food contact, cleaning, heavy industry and so on).
Household gloves and Industrial latex gloves come in varieties with several different specifications, thickness range, glove linings, patterns, and cuff.
Contact and traumatic injuries are the most common, the former through contact with extreme temperatures, hazardous chemicals or blood-borne pathogen, the latter through cuts, pinches or punctures to the hands and fingers. Gloves will offer protection from these forms of injury by providing the necessary barrier between the hand and the hazard.
Which glove is right? Choosing right gloves:
A complete understanding of different aspects to gloves is crucial to choosing the right glove for desired applications.
* Temperature Extremes – insulation is key, and natural rubber gloves are renowned for their temperature-resistant properties.
* Chemical Exposure – no single type is best for every type of chemical and it’s critical to understand the specific hazards associated with the chemicals that workers may encounter.
* Dangerous Surfaces – Thickness of material is paramount to offering the best protection against cuts and punctures.
* Electricity exposure – insulated rubber gloves offer the best protection
* Open flame exposure – fire-retardant materials are obligatory.
Delicate materials – Sometimes, the purpose of the glove isn’t to protect the workers from the material, but to protect the material from the worker, for example in food handling environments. Here, natural latex is the perfect glove material, offering elasticity, resilience to tearing and comfortability.
Rubber Gloves of several different raw materials have been introduced to cater to a larger universal of end-user applications. Choosing gloves of a suitable raw material is crucial in picking up the right gloves for a desired application.
Latex gloves can only provide the desired level of protection when they are not damaged. Even the most well-made glove may only provide a few days (or even a few hours) of performance in a heavy industrial setting. Before putting a pair of gloves on, they should be inspected carefully to ensure that there are no rips, tears, cracks, or any other kind of damage that could impair the protection. If any defects are found, the glove should be discarded immediately.
Selecting Your Gloves
Length for gloves often comes in between 9 -16 inches / 24 cm to 42 cm. Longer gloves are often ideal for more heavy-duty applications or for applications which require superior protection.
Thickness is an important factor to be taken into consideration. Thick gloves possess higher layers of compound, thus offering greater degrees of protection and enhanced durability. Thick gloves can result in hand fatigue especially during extended use and application, particularly when using more rigid raw materials such as nitrile gloves where handling dexterity can be compromised. Appropriate glove thickness should be determined to achieve the right trade-off between durability, dexterity and cost.
Unlined gloves are most demanded, highest in use and most preferred for applications with stringent hygienic demands since lining materials can potentially contaminate the glove or the material that it is used with (For example food industry requires unlined gloves to ensure nothing contaminates the handling of food). Choosing right gloves, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, or other type of gloves is important in order to achieve 100% output. Household gloves often have its internal surface coated with different types of linings to offer different feel, sensation, or specific application. There are different types of linings and most common are Unlined Latex Gloves, Flocklined Gloves, and Silverlined Gloves.
At TK Bosaeng Glove, we have been manufacturing high quality nature rubber gloves for over 30 years and offers an extensive range of gloves for most industrial and domestic needs. Choosing right gloves and the best suitable gloves is what we help to do. A fast, reliable logistics network ensures we can reach all international markets quickly, and on-time. Gloves in manufacturing are vital for safety. Hazards exist in every workplace and so strategies to protect workers are essential. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including rubber gloves, plays an important role in protecting the workforce from injury.
Personal Protective Equipment
In the 21st century, most industries recognize and adhere to Health and Safety procedures and legislation, and work hard to control any potential hazard at its source as this will eliminate it from the workplace altogether or isolate it from the worker. Nevertheless, in many circumstances hazards cannot be removed or controlled adequately and PPE must be used if the work process is to continue safely and efficiently.
Damage to hands and fingers account for over 25% of injuries in the workplace; consequently gloves are a particularly important PPE item. The available ranges, particularly with natural rubber gloves, are almost as extensive as the breadth of industry. From the lightness of touch required in gem and jewelry manufacture through to heavy steel fabrication, protection of the hands is critical. The correct choice of gloves, and ensuring the workforce wear them, will ensure adherence to health and safety legislation, protect employees and improve productivity.
Rubber Gloves Manufacturer
It is imperative, too, that rubber glove manufacturers help in the selection process. At TK Bosaeng Glove, successful brand leading natural rubber glove manufacturer for over 30 years, we work diligently to ensure:
– all quality standards are sought and adhered to
– all gloves are produced to a consistently high quality
– gloves are labelled distinctively and correctly
– gloves offer comfort, “fit”, and flexibility, so workers are not encumbered
– products are available for a wide range of industrial usage
Our rubber glove manufacturing facilities in Thailand are fully equipped with processes to ensure both product consistency and flexibility. Backed by a global logistics network that ensures we can deliver speedily and on time, we believe we can offer the best quality gloves at highly competitive prices.

Food Preparation Gloves can be used by anyone from the person serving bakery to a chef in a professional kitchen. Gloves can protect the person during a variety of applications, from cutting meat to simply preparing a sandwich.
Food preparation – preparing food for eating, generally requires selection, measurement and combination of ingredients in an ordered procedure so as to achieve desired results. Food preparation includes but is not limited to cooking.
Food Preparation Protection – At Work and in the Home
Nowhere is food handled more frequently than in meal preparation. From fine-dine restaurants to local inns, work canteens, nursing homes, hospitals and even in the home, food ingredients are daily sliced, diced, boiled, fried, roasted and then served to appreciatively hungry people.
Protection both for the end user and for the preparer is, therefore, critical. The potential for the transmission of harmful bacteria and toxins is high and the wearing of gloves a key health and safety issue. Natural rubber gloves, with their renowned elasticity, resilience to tearing and comfort-ability have long been the best choice in the industry, as all employers seek to minimize the associated risks of food handling. The workers, themselves, must recognize the benefits of protection to themselves, as well.
In the home, protection when food handling and preparation is just as important, and regular wearing of rubber gloves will protect the family from possible food contamination as well as providing hand and skin care to the user.
Food Preparation Gloves
TK Bosaeng Glove produces natural latex rubber gloves for a wide range of domestic and industrial usage. With over 30 years experience in the market, and as the leading manufacturer in Asia, we are fully aware of the importance of the requirements for protection in food preparation. All our gloves are non-toxic, thus safe for handling food, and all are made from natural latex, and are therefore bio-degradable and environmentally friendly. We are able, through a sophisticated and extensive network, to deliver anywhere in the world speedily and cost-effectively. Food distribution gloves are essential in the process within the food distribution industry in order to maintain all necessary protection, safety, health, and hygiene standards until the end.
Food distribution is the process in which a general population is supplied with food. The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) considers food distribution as a subset of the food system. The process and methodology behind food distribution varies.
Moving Food Products Safely
The distribution of fresh, chilled, frozen and ambient food products involves highly complex logistics, and its proponents play a key role in the food service industry supply chain. Food safety outbreaks and recalls are the bane of the industry and, consequently, requirements are now much more stringent for companies at all levels of the supply chain, including storage and distribution.
In an effort to minimize risk, many western governments have introduced the concept of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), identifying and attempting to eradicate problem areas. Whilst uniforms and garments, including rubber gloves, are not necessarily the weakest link for a business in which food safety is imperative, operators must recognize the risks of improper care, cleaning and handling. Diseases, viruses, and bacteria can still be transmitted by hand, especially to fresh produce and even to packaging.
Furthermore, the workforce itself requires protection to the hands – against temperature extremes, abrasion, chemicals and cuts – and a firm, comfortable grip is invariably required, given that material handling is number one on the list of job requirements.
Natural latex is, without doubt, one of the best materials for protective gloves, with its important attributes of elasticity, durability and natural chemical resistance. At TK Bosaeng Glove, we recognize, and whole-heartedly support, the ever-increasing demands for higher safety levels, and are committed to the manufacturing of consistently high quality natural rubber gloves. We have developed a wide range of gloves suitable for all conditions, and, as the leading manufacturer in South East Asia, have earned an impressive reputation, both for our products and our prices; we have, too, built a global network of professional, helpful agents to ensure speedy and timely delivery of gloves.

Food processing gloves are crucial for the well being and safety of the workers. Food processing is a massive industry, employing millions around the world. Washing, chopping, pasteurizing, freezing, fermenting, packaging and more may all be involved.
Food processing is the transformation of raw ingredients, by physical or chemical means into food, or of food into other forms. Food processing combines raw food ingredients to produce marketable food products that can be easily prepared and served by the consumer. Food processing typically involves activities such as mincing and macerating, liquefaction, emulsification, and cooking (such as boiling, broiling, frying, or grilling); pickling, pasteurization, and many other kinds of preservation; and canning or other packaging.
Some of the biggest names in business are associated with food processing; globally, companies such as PepsiCo, Nestle, Kraft Foods and Mars; in Thailand, Thai Union Group, Betagro and many others.
Health & Safety
Health and Safety are of prime concern. Firstly, some processes involve making food products safe by removing toxins, de-activating spoilage and eliminating pathogenic micro-organisms. Secondly, it is essential that finished food products leave the processing center fit for human consumption.
Protection of the food worker from occupational exposures related to food processing, and the prevention of pathogen or spoilage organism transmission from worker to product are critical and rubber gloves play an important role in these health and safety issues. TK Bosaeng Glove, South East Asia’s leading natural rubber glove manufacturer, has responded with gloves specifically designed to meet the industry’s needs.
Natural latex rubber gloves are highly regarded in the industry, offering the important qualities of material durability, strength, resistant to corrosive sanitizers, tear-resistant, elasticity, comfort, tactile sensitivity and heat-resistant. In an age, too, when manufacturers are increasingly aware of environmental issues, natural rubber gloves offer the advantage of being biodegradable.
Food & Drug Administration (FDA) requirements across the globe are stringent and exacting. At TK Bosaeng Glove, we ensure all our production processes comply with the standards set by FDA and actively pursue all necessary accreditation; these include “US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for food contact safe; “KS” Mark awarded in Korea, ISO 9001: 2008 for our factory’s manufacturing processes and European Conformity CE Mark certification, the recognition that a manufacturer’s products comply with the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation; “S mark” for anti-germ penetration and anti-micro organism. We have also been awarded the Thailand Trust Mark for our products, guaranteeing Thai quality and meeting Thailand standards as a rubber gloves manufacturer.

Food Production gloves have played a vital role in the food industry. Rules, hygiene standards, HACCP, employee health, safety regulations, and protection requirements, have all contributed to the increase in demand in rubber gloves in the food production process.
Until the last 100 years, agriculture was labor intensive. Farming was a common occupation and millions of people were involved in food production. Farmers, largely trained from generation to generation, carried on the family business. The food industry as a complex whole requires an incredibly wide range of skills. Several hundred occupation types exist within the food industry.
Production means growing the plants we harvest or raising the animals we use for food. Most food comes from domesticated animals and plants, and their production occurs on farms or ranches. Some foods are caught or harvested from the wild, such as some fish, mushrooms, etc.
Producing Food for the Table
Little thought is given to the production and rearing processes that are the starting place to get food products on to supermarket shelves. Yet there is an immense, often labor-intensive, industry that farms and breeds the meat, vegetable and fruit products we consume on a daily basis.
Working outdoors, often in harsh conditions, workers in the industry require resilient, yet comfortable protection in all items of clothing, not least gloves. Rubber gloves have been a mainstay in the sector for decades, and at TK Bosaeng Glove, we have built our strong reputation on producing high quality, durable products using natural latex rubber.
Through experience and a firm commitment to R & D, we have developed a number of product ranges to suit most food production industry requirements. Our stated aims are to deliver gloves that offer the best flexibility, are durable and long-lasting and are highly resistant to chemical invasion. Latex rubber, we believe, is the most suitable material to meet our standards, and has the added benefit of being a natural product and thus environmentally friendly.
TK Bosaeng Glove manufactures in efficient premises located in Thailand, close to the best rubber plantations in the world. We have a well deserved reputation throughout South East Asia, Far East, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Our logistics network with speedy, on-time deliveries and professional, helpful agents now allows us to operate globally, with highly competitive prices. Laboratory gloves are part of a daily routine and they are vital to protecting lives. As a leading manufacturer of natural latex rubber gloves, we, at TK Bosaeng Glove, can think of nowhere more critical for hand and arm protection than in the laboratory. Daily tasks invariably involve the use of chemicals, often of a highly toxic or carcinogenic nature. And, not only is glove protection critical, but so is removal and disposal.
Rubber Gloves Selection
The choice of glove is important; rubber gloves should be selected on the basis of the chemicals the wearer is exposed to, and for particularly toxic materials, sometimes the best glove is actually two worn together! Gloves need to fit well – too small is uncomfortable and can tear, too large restricts dexterity and tactile sensitivity. As well, in an emergency, gloves may need to be removed in a hurry.
Laboratory Gloves Use (Before & After)
Prior to use, gloves should be carefully checked for physical damage such as tears or pin-holes and for previous chemical damage, particularly when dealing with dangerous materials. After use it is equally important to remove gloves before contacting “clean” areas such as food area surfaces, or common equipment such as telephones, computer keyboards, and photocopiers, to avoid putting others at risk. The same applies to careful disposal.
Putting on a pair of #rubber_gloves is routine for many research scientists. The problem is that the routine also involves throwing them away even when they haven’t been contaminated, it can account for 22% of total lab waste. Add to that the number of global scientists performing this routine multiple times a day at the 20,500 global institutions conducting biological, medical, or agricultural research, and what do you have? 22% of #Rubber_Gloves can be recycled!
Over the last 35 years, we have invested heavily in developing protective rubber gloves for all areas of industry, not least for laboratories. Our products are designed for softness, tactile sensitivity and skin protection, chemically resistant to acids, alcohols, ketones and alkalis. Thicker, multi-purpose gloves, such as our AS range, are an ideal choice, though for some lab work, our industrial specialty Bl-12 lines may well be more appropriate. Rubber Gloves Automotive Industry: In heavy duty industries, such as the automotive industry, hands are in use almost constantly, and protection is essential. Technicians working in metal stamping and assembly use dangerous tools and can be exposed to sharp edges causing cuts and abrasions; in the paint room, there are the potential dangers of chemical exposure and heat burns. Tough, heavy duty rubber gloves that are puncture and chemical resistant, are, therefore, a pre-requisite in the industry. At the same time technicians need to perform their tasks with a high degree of precision – thus the gloves must offer a high level of dexterity.
TK Bosaeng Glove & Auto Industry
TK Bosaeng Glove has been supplying natural rubber gloves to all major industry sectors for over 30 years and we are deeply aware of the specific needs of the rubber gloves for the automotive sector. All our gloves have been extensively tested for durability, resistance and consistency; importantly, they have been designed with raised textures for an enhanced grip and a high level of dexterity to deliver the precision necessary in the industry.
Latex gloves are the best when it comes to comfort, elasticity, flexibility, and dexterity. Rubber gloves function as a protection against many chemicals and they act as barrier to hazardous materials, thus making rubber gloves perfect in the automotive industry.
Hazard & Danger Assessment
A risk assessment can be performed by a safety professional familiar with the task. The hazard assessment begins with knowing what chemicals or combination of chemicals the task or job requires. The next step is to determine the chemicals’ toxic properties by reviewing Safety Data Sheet(s) (SDS). Attention should be given to various sections and more to toxicological information such as potential local skin effects, as well as potential absorption through the skin, and resultant acute, and chronic effects.
When reviewing the job requirements, the degree of dexterity required for each task must be taken into account. Tasks that require fine motor skills, such as laboratory work, may require a thinner glove material, while operations such as industrial parts cleaning may require thicker gloves. At TK Bosaeng Glove, we have the range and variety to meet those various demands.
Also, the length of exposure to the chemicals must be considered. Some tasks may require only splash protection or include intermittent contact, while others may involve complete immersion or continual contact with the chemicals. Other factors to consider are chemical concentration and temperature.
We are committed to using natural latex in our glove manufacturing, as the material offers significant advantages that satisfy the many needs of automotive workers:
– Latex gloves have high resistance to many chemicals, such as iodine and butane, making them ideal for automotive technicians
– Latex gloves offer greater elasticity and better puncture resistance than alternative glove materials
– Latex gloves provide more comfort in harsh environments, important when worn for long periods at a time.

Beauty industry gloves are vital for protection and well-being of both customers and employees. The beauty market sector, covering salons, barber shops, nail spa, tattoo parlors, massage salons and a whole lot more, is immense, booming and resistant to economic downturns. It is also a potential source of illness for its technicians, ailments that can be substantially reduced by wearing rubber gloves.
Gloves protection from chemicals
A wide range of harsh chemicals is used in the business, including acetone, toluene, methyl ethyl ketone and isopropyl acetate, and prolonged exposure via skin contact can cause burns and skin irritations, especially dermatitis. According to research carried out by the Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre in Melbourne, 61 per cent of practicing hairdressers have experienced some form of skin problem on their hands, usually contact dermatitis, during their career. Shampoos and conditioners, dyes, bleach, wax, massage oils, skin products, nail glues and nail polishes – the daily tools of the business – all contain chemicals that can affect the skin and may lead to dermatitis.
It therefore is important that businesses in the sector provide its technicians, therapists, stylists, and employees with the knowledge and wherewithal for proper hand protection at all times, especially when coloring hair, and when handling hair dyes, bleach, and perming solutions. Natural latex gloves as beauty industry gloves, are regarded as the most suitable for guarding against chemicals and pathogens whilst providing the comfort and dexterity necessary for the work involved.

The cleaning services industry operates in public and industrial places such as schools, hospitals, offices, stations, airports and food and beverage production sites. It uses a wide variety of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment to facilitate and expedite the cleaning process. Protection for its workers is, therefore, critical, with rubber gloves a key component for both safety and hygiene.
Companies in this sector have a key responsibility to both their customers and employees. Safety is an absolute priority and stringent controls and regulations apply to the sector to help to ensure the safety of workers (human exposure) and of the environment. Most workers in the sector are unskilled and require training; therefore the onus is on the employing company to ensure its staff are fully aware of the potential dangers from not wearing gloves and other protective clothing.
Our Rubber Gloves in the Cleaning Services Industry
As a leading manufacturer of natural rubber gloves we, at TK Bosaeng Glove, recognize the importance of worker safety in the cleaning sector, and have developed products that are specifically designed to protect against the sometimes harsh and stringent chemicals used, yet are comfortable to wear, flexible and not detrimental to productivity. We know, too, that the gloves need to be hard-wearing, resistant to tearing and fully protective, both for hands and arms. Latex, with its natural strength and elasticity, provides the best raw material to meet all these requirements and has the additional benefit of easily decomposing at the end of its life, thus offering an environmentally-friendly option.
- We produce rubber latex gloves to meet worldwide best practices to optimize quality, internal efficiency, and productivity. Our latex gloves are manufactured with one purpose, for the sake of employees (users) and the environment. We have partnered closely with a global cleaning companies in order to drive quality and continuous innovation of rubber gloves used in their daily cleaning services. Providing best quality gloves for our customers in the cleaning services industry means that we adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and quality standards. Sustainable quality over a longer period of time is one of the things that differentiates us from competitors.

Fighting toxicity with rubber gloves is essential to protect yourself, your home, your family, and others who may come in contact with you. Any skin contact is a potential source of exposure to hazardous and toxic materials, and rubber gloves are the most reliable and convenient means to protect hands and arms.
Rubber Latex Gloves are advised for everyday use
Long-recognized in heavy industries such as fishing, agriculture and building, where gloves have been a necessary requirement for decades, glove usage has become increasingly important in the home. Advances in technology, coupled with investment in R&D by companies like TK Bosaeng Glove, have led to natural rubber gloves becoming thinner, stronger and more tactile to meet the needs of the expanding domestic market. They are now common in just about every household, for use when washing dishes, house cleaning, washing pets, cleaning fresh fruit and vegetables, protecting and fighting toxicity in infected or hazardous areas…the list is endless.
Importance of gloves in personal protection
There is little doubt that natural latex gloves afford excellent protection and, at TK Bosaeng Glove, we have been at the forefront of Research and Development to ensure our products offer the best possible protection, and are ideally suited for a myriad of household tasks. In recent times our Maxpower and Soson brand of rubber gloves, targeted at the domestic market, has enjoyed great success, with its popular range of sizes and colors demonstrating the rising recognition that gloves are essential protective wear in the home.
The use of rubber gloves can protect the user from contracting germs, bacteria, or get in contact with dangerous materials that can affect his health or the health of those around him. It is better to take precautions and be safe, rather than suffering from illnesses, toxins, or hazardous infections.

The skin is the body’s largest organ, offering a protective barrier against external factors. Skin care and hand hygiene play a key role in protecting the body against pathogens like viruses, bacteria and fungi, and help to moderate water loss. As well, it insulates and regulates temperatures. Skin care and hand hygiene, therefore, are important both to the individual and to anyone that person is in contact with.
Rubber gloves, in many walks of life, provide skin protection and act as a barrier to the transmission of pathogens.
In industry, health and safety regulations have increasingly recognized the protective role that rubber gloves offer. Latex gloves have been offering a protection barrier in various industries and the use of rubber gloves has become a standard operating procedure.
Many industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Beauty, Cleaning, Food Production, Food Processing, Food handling, Laboratory, Medical, Healthcare, Public Works, and many others have stressed the importance of protecting their employees. Many companies focus on their workers productivity in order to meet their deadlines, results, and goals, so the importance of having a healthy workforce has an effect on the company’s overall performance. If an employee contracts an infection and then applies his tasks and duties where the requirements of gloves are crucial in safety and hygiene, this individual is increasing the potential transmission of such infections and viruses through contact.
For example, a cleaning company employee touches many surfaces and items during the cleaning process. If this person does not use gloves, he or she might develop a skin disease based on the chemicals used or surfaces touched. Once this employee seeks healthcare, he is out of his work, which effects in company’s productivity and overall performance. This can also cause issues at home.
In the home, latex gloves can offer protection during domestic cleaning and gardening. They also have a role to play when coming into contact with vulnerable people, children and babies in particular, to avoid transmitting bacteria and viruses.
It is important to note that skin care, hand hygiene, and the use of rubber latex gloves can reduce infections and viruses by 60% to 80%, and it can also protect the skin from contracting hand eczema or any other diseases. Overall, rubber gloves can protect an individual at work, at home, and any other place.
Our Latex Gloves
At TK Bosaeng Glove, we have long recognized the importance of rubber gloves in the protection and care of the skin. Our natural latex gloves are purposely designed with strong barrier-proof properties and we have developed ranges for a wide spectrum of uses for both industry and home use. Natural latex gloves have had its critics through possible association with allergic reactions, often referred to as latex allergy, in particular Type 1 and Type 4 allergies, that can cause eczema-like hand irritation.
It is true that, for significantly less than 1% of the population who are “Type 1 Allergic”, one or more proteins in natural rubber latex can cause a hypersensitivity reaction. Type 4 allergy, however, is a reaction to chemicals used in the manufacturing process for all types of rubber glove, latex, nitrile and synthetic. A latex allergy can either be caused by natural rubber latex, which is a very rare occurrence, or by chemicals from the glove’s production process.
Most manufacturers, including market leader TK Bosaeng Glove, have worked hard to eliminate these chemicals from the production, and Type 4 allergies are now becoming much less commonly associated with rubber gloves.
Types of Allergies (Latex Allergy)
Natural rubber latex is known to cause Type I and Type IV allergic reactions, as well as irritant contact dermatitis.
The most serious and rare form of latex allergy, Type I hypersensitivity can cause an immediate and potentially life-threatening reaction, not unlike the severe reaction some people have to bee stings. Such reactions account for a significant proportion of perioperative anaphylactic reaction; especially in children with myelomeningocele. Type I natural rubber latex allergy is an IgE (immune) mediated reaction to proteins found in the Hevea-brasiliensis tree, a type of rubber tree.
Testing for type I natural rubber latex allergy is through blood testing to determine if the patient is producing IgE antibodies to latex proteins.
Anaphylactic shock can be provoked in allergic persons by the previous use of latex in an area: latex is typically powdered to prevent sticking, latex proteins become attached to the particles of powder, and the powder becomes airborne when the latex item is used, triggering potentially life-threatening Type I reactions when the latex-contaminated powder is inhaled by susceptible persons. In radiological units latex allergy may mimic contrast medium allergy.
Type IV (allergic contact dermatitis)
Type IV allergy, also known as allergic contact dermatitis, involves a delayed skin rash that is similar to poison ivy with blistering and oozing of the skin. It can be diagnosed through a positive skin patch test, although a negative test does not rule out a latex allergy. Severe irritation takes place if a latex catheter is inserted in the urinary tract of a person allergic to latex. That is especially severe in case of a radical prostatectomy due to the open wound there and the exposure lasting e.g. two weeks. Intense pain may indicate such situation. (Reference: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/healthlibrary/test_procedures/urology/radical_prostatectomy_92,p09111/ )
Irritant contact dermatitis
Natural rubber latex can also cause irritant contact dermatitis, a less severe form of reaction that does not involve the immune system. Contact dermatitis causes dry, itchy, irritated areas on the skin, most often on the hands. Latex-glove induced dermatitis increases the chance of hospital-acquired infections, including blood-borne infections, being transmitted.
People who have latex allergy may also have or develop an allergic response to some plants and/or products of these plants such as fruits. This is known as the latex-fruit syndrome. Fruits (and seeds) involved in this syndrome include banana, pineapple, avocado, chestnut, kiwi fruit, mango, passionfruit, fig, strawberry and soy. Some but not all of these fruits contain a form of latex. Hevein-like protein domains are a possible cause for allergen cross-reactivity between latex and banana or fruits in general.
- Children with spina bifida, up to 68% will have a reaction.
- Industrial rubber workers, exposed for long periods to high amounts of latex. About 10% develop an allergic reaction.
- Health care providers given the ubiquitous use of latex products in health care settings, management of latex allergy presents significant health organizational problems. Those healthcare workers—such as physicians, nurses, aides, dentists, dental hygienists, operating room employees, occupational therapists, laboratory technicians, and hospital housekeeping personnel—who frequently use latex gloves and other latex-containing medical supplies are at risk for developing latex allergy. Between about 4% to 17% of healthcare workers have a reaction, which usually presents as Irritant Contact Dermatitis. This contact dermatitis can develop further through allergic sensitivity to a status of full anaphylactic shock. Apart from the uncomfortable and in some cases life-threatening health implications, this will effectively hinder the person from working with any amount of latex and could impede their chance of maintaining their vocation. In the surgical setting, the risk of a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction by a patient has been deemed by Johns Hopkins Hospital to be sufficiently high to replace all latex surgical gloves with synthetic alternatives.
- People who have had multiple surgical procedures, especially in childhood.
Estimates of latex sensitivity in the general population range from 0.8% to 5.2%.
Hand Dermatitis Prevention
A much more frequent cause of hand eczema (hand dermatitis) is job-related. Repeated exposure to irritants such as soaps, detergents, solvents, lubricants, fiberglass dust, food products, metals, and plastics can cause itchy, dry, scaly patches of skin that crack and flake. Those trades and professions most prone include bricklaying, mechanical industry, health care, food service / processing and agriculture.
For workers employed in these, and similar, fields, rubber gloves offer significant protection against hand eczema, providing an impenetrable barrier between the skin and the irritant. Latex gloves are, perhaps, the most suitable, renowned for their elasticity and tensile strength, as well being bio-degradable and friendlier to the environment.

Rubber Gloves Protection: For over 30 years it has been accepted that the wearing of rubber gloves offers an increased level of protection against viral and infectious transmission. Over that period, numerous studies have been undertaken that have proved conclusively that there are significant protective benefits.
The UK Health and Safety Executive, for example, has long stated that “gloves play an important role in protecting workers from exposure to blood-borne viruses, especially where there is a risk of injury, such as a puncture wound.” And the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that “rubber gloves reduce hand contamination by 70 to 80 percent, prevent cross-contamination and protect patients and health care personnel from infection”.
Rubber Gloves Protection & Latex Gloves Benefits
Natural latex remains the favored material for rubber gloves, due to its superior structural attributes of stretch and elasticity. In 2003, in the opinion of a scientific committee on medicinal products and medical devices on ‘The Protection offered by Natural Rubber Latex Medical Gloves’ noted that: “natural rubber latex gloves offer good protection against transmission of viral infections”, and that “in general, in terms of leakage properties, no alternative material has been found to be superior to natural rubber latex.”
TK Bosaeng Glove has been manufacturing natural rubber gloves for over 30 years and has an outstanding reputation for consistently high quality, innovation and solid working practices.

Challenges & Prospects (Rubber Gloves Market 2017)
2017 promises to be a demanding year for manufacturers of natural rubber gloves. The raw material price has risen by almost 60% over the past 12 months. This rise, linked to higher production costs, will lead to price rises for the consumer. Synthetic glove manufacturers will see some benefit from this, although expected price increases in crude oil and other materials will act as a counter balance. Product Price rise is expected in 2017.
Nevertheless, we expect to see market growth of 6-8% over the course of 2017. Hygiene concerns, especially in food processing, and higher health and safety standards will, we believe, lead to a higher demand. The rubber gloves market 2017 will grow at a steady pace for industrial and household gloves. Medical and examination gloves demand will grow at a constant growth rate, unless there is an unexpected outbreak or disease like MERS, H1N, ZIKA, etc.
Natural Rubber Latex Gloves
At TK Bosaeng Glove, we believe that natural rubber goods will continue to lead the market, despite the rising costs, as biodegradability and environmental concerns continue to play an important role in purchasing decisions. More companies are moving towards a “Green Concept” and applying Corporate Social Responsibility practices in day to day operations. Natural rubber latex gloves are environmentally friendly and non-hazardous to nature. The progress made in reducing Type I and type IV allergies in latex gloves will ensure that adverse reaction is negated, and pro-active new product development will continue to build new markets. We are already introducing new sizes, ranges and colors, including dual color designs, building on an impressive record of innovation. Quality standards continue to improve, and we are proud of our quality accreditation across the world.
Global Market Demand
Mature markets, as is the case in most of Europe, will remain stagnant and grow at a slow rate, but Asia, and in particular ASEAN countries, will continue to offer great growth potential. The United States will remain one the biggest end-users of rubber gloves, especially synthetic nitrile gloves, however with climate change impact, and new technologies used in producing latex gloves to reduce allergies, latex gloves will be highly considered by many for daily operations. With the increasing focus on climate change, we believe that the natural rubber gloves market will overcome the challenges, confident that latex products will always be the best choice for those who want to make a difference.

As our knowledge and understanding of the adverse effect on health and wellbeing of germs and bacteria increases, so we have experienced a growing demand for rubber gloves, recognizing their role in germ prevention both in the work environment and around the home.
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is the systematic preventative approach to food safety employed in the food industry, as laid down by governments throughout the world. Its regulations insist on the wearing of protective food handling rubber gloves throughout the food manufacturing process, thus helping protect both the workers and end-consumers from contamination. Its successful implementation in the food industry is now being copied in a number of other manufacturing sectors including the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Hotels and restaurants are also increasingly aware of Food Safety Standards, and are insisting on the use of food handling gloves throughout the food preparation and serving process as an aid to germ prevention.
Domestically, too, the anti-germ penetration qualities of rubber gloves are increasingly appreciated, and this recognition is resulting in further demand for high quality gloves. Few household items have a higher home penetration than rubber gloves!
‘Soson’ ‘Rainbow’ ‘Max power’, made from the finest natural latex, are manufactured to the highest quality standards, to guarantee the best possible protection from germs and bacteria. Our manufacturing facility in Thailand has been granted ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our processes and we are also accredited with the “S” Mark, covering anti-germ penetration and the “KS” Mark awarded in Korea and South East Asia.
Our extensive global logistics network ensures products can be supplied anywhere in the world, quickly and efficiently. For more information please visit our website at www.tkbosaeng.com, or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
For over 30 years TK Bosaeng has been manufacturing its top quality rubber gloves and boots using only natural latex, processed from rubber plantations in South East Asia. At a time when there has been an expansion in the use of synthetic materials, the company believes that consistently high quality and environmental concerns ensure that there will always be a place in the market for natural latex products, particularly in its new market sectors of air mattresses and cushions.
Once vulcanized – the chemical process that uses Sulfur to provide durability – natural rubber latex is known to offer great strength and is less prone to tearing and degeneration than most synthetic varieties. This is, of course, important to our new top quality TK Bosaeng brand, that includes rubber gloves, air cushions and air mattresses in its portfolio.
As well, using latex rubber allows us to produce thinner, yet stronger, material which, particularly for rubber gloves, offers the important attributes of tactility and elasticity.
Last, but by no means least, latex, a completely natural plant based material, is farmed from sustainable, environmentally friendly rubber plantations. And, of course, as latex products are totally natural, they easily decompose at the end of their life
Latex allergies do mean that for a very small proportion of the populace – under 1% – natural rubber gloves are not an option. We also recognize that, for a small minority, some chemicals added in the production process of natural rubber may cause allergies and sensitivity. We have heavily researched this and, where possible, have eliminated or reduced their inclusion. While not able to claim complete allergy immunity, we do believe that TK Bosaeng natural latex products are safe, environmentally friendly and offer exceptionally high quality.

TK Bosaeng has been manufacturing high quality rubber gloves for over 30 years and enjoys a strong reputation for producing durable and strong household and industrial gloves at highly competitive prices. Using natural latex, “tapped” from rubber trees in sustainable plantations, a strict quality control process ensures only the best rubber reaches our purpose built manufacturing facilities in Thailand – ideally located close to the plantations and to the country’s road and sea transport network.
TK Bosaeng has pioneered rubber production processes that ensure all our latex gloves are of a consistent thickness, provide unsurpassed comfort and flexibility, and offer a barrier against potentially infectious materials. Our commitment to quality is second to none, and we have actively and successfully pursued quality accreditations that we incorporate into our business practices. These include the “S” Mark, covering anti-germ penetration for products, the “KS” Mark awarded in Korea and South East Asia and ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our factory’s manufacturing processes.

Just beneath the bark of the Hevea Brasiliensis tree lies the valuable mixture of organic compounds we know as “latex”, or natural rubber. A protective fluid, cloudy white in appearance, latex has become an important part of our everyday life. It possesses excellent tensile, stretch, and tear-resistant qualities, and has the ability to shrink around a mould, allowing the tiniest detail to be reproduced. These attributes make it ideal for a vast range of uses including rubber gloves, boots, balloons, mats, swim caps, mattresses, cushions…a seemingly endless list.
As with any natural product, latex rubber quality will vary, depending on age of tree, soil conditions, temperature and so on. At TK Bosaeng, we use only the finest quality natural latex, selected from the best rubber plantations in Thailand, in the manufacture of our rubber gloves, air cushions and air mattresses; we carry out rigorous testing on the raw material and employ exacting standards of quality control throughout our production process.
For our rubber gloves we employ a unique dipping process in our production process that results in a highly consistent thickness, tensile strength, elongation, and the unique properties of the latex rubber ensures that our detailed, non-slip finger and palm features are perfectly reproduced. We carry out rigorous testing on our products and employ exacting standards of quality control throughout our production process. This is reflected in the accreditations we have received, including the “S” Mark, covering anti-germ penetration for products and the “KS” Mark awarded in Korea and South East Asia. We are also proud to have been granted ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our factory’s manufacturing processes.
We are proud of our reputation for producing 100% natural rubber products and are always mindful of the need to protect our environment. We are able to provide our full range of products anywhere in the world through our extensive logistics network.

Consider, if you will, the times in a day when your hands are exposed to harmful bacteria and potential abrasive damage, whether at home, in the garden or in the workplace. Rubber gloves have become a necessary part of our lives in protecting hands and arms in a wide variety of circumstances.
In the home gloves will protect from detergents and hot water whilst washing up; protect from bacteria when cleaning bathrooms; minimize contact when preparing foods. In the garden they will protect against harmful bacteria in the soil and from prickly plant scratches. In the workplace, they offer obvious protection from machinery, harsh detergents and hazardous materials that can cause skin damage or provoke allergic reactions.
The latex we use at TK Bosaeng, in producing our natural rubber safe gloves, provides great protection whilst, at the same time – and more than any other material – offers a snug, tactile fit to allow you to perform tasks efficiently. Our gloves, too, have a specifically designed diamond pattern on fingers and palms for slip-resistance, reducing the likelihood of accidents, and our long, tight-fitting cuffs resist tearing and water leakage.
The ‘Soson’ ‘Rainbow’ ‘Max power’ gloves made by TK Bosaeng, are just one product line in a range of top quality rubber goods, including boots, air cushions and air mattresses.
Our total commitment to quality is reflected in the accreditations we have received, including the “S” Mark, covering anti-germ penetration for products and the “KS” Mark awarded in Korea and South East Asia. We are also proud to have been granted ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our factory’s manufacturing processes.

‘Soson’ ‘Rainbow’ ‘Max power’ gloves, boots, air mattresses and cushions are made from the finest natural rubber extracted from exclusive rubber plantations in Thailand – the best known quality producer in the World, accounting for over 30% of total natural rubber production.
At our chosen sustainable plantations rubber harvesting remains a people business, and the art of “tapping” trees to deliver the sticky, milky latex is a skill passed down over generations. Precise incisions are made in the bark of mature trees and latex will drip into containers – usually half-coconut shells – for about 4 hours. Trees are tapped on alternate or every third day, although the experience of the tapper will determine timing, length, and number of cuts used. Latex will, naturally, coagulate over time and it is important that it is collected whilst still in viscous form. It is then transferred into special tanks and drums before shipment to our processing facilities.
As with any naturally cultivated product, latex quality will vary depending on age of the trees and the plantation’s habitat. At TK Bosaeng, we select the finest, our years of experience in manufacturing ensuring a continual supply of top quality latex for our product range.
Using the latest technology, as many impurities and proteins as possible are removed through a pretreatment and centrifuging process. The treated latex is then “vulcanized”, a procedure that heats the latex which, combined with the use of accelerators, gives strength and elasticity. At this stage, color dyes are added to give our TK Bosaeng products that special uniqueness.
Specially designed moulds (for example, hand-shaped in the case of glove manufacturing) are then dipped into the latex – a unique single stage process to guarantee consistency of thickness and quality – and passed through a warm oven to complete the coagulation process.
Once this process has been completed, the finished items are stripped from the moulds. Finally, the products are chemically treated and washed to remove the natural rubber odor and to ensure a soft, smooth and highly durable finish. Afterwards, products are Q.C checked, packaged and delivered worldwide.
We are able to supply high quality TK Bosaeng rubber goods across the globe, backed by our extensive world-wide logistics network. For more information please visit our website at www.tkbosaeng.com, or contact us at email@example.com .

Rubber Gloves for Industry
The development of rubber gloves has played an important role in those industries where safety and protection is of paramount importance. Originally produced for the fishing and agricultural industries, rubber glove usage has expanded to include just about every major sector including automotive, horticulture, food handling, processing and distribution, public works, sewage handling and so much more.
Increasing concerns over health and safety has been the major factor in this expansion, with employee protection in the workplace key. And in all areas of the food industry, consumer safety, of course, is a major consideration. Glove development over the decades has moved in line with these concerns; thicker materials, long sleeved gloves for total arm protection; barrier protection against chemicals and other harmful elements; improved strength in grip, with diamond or honeycombed patterning on the palm.
Natural latex rubber, with its superb elasticity, strength, and durability has proved ideal as the industrial glove sector has grown and TK Bosaeng, leading natural rubber goods manufacturer over the past 30 years, has been at the forefront of market development, through heavy investment in R & D and in production equipment, and facilities are internationally approved, to include ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our processes, and our flexible production processes allows us to produce a wide range of brand and OEM lines efficiently and economically. TK Bosaeng Glove is specialized in manufacturing high quality, safe, protective, flexible, strong, and long-lasting industrial rubber gloves. We have also built an extensive global logistics network that ensures products can be supplied, speedily anywhere in the world.

Household Rubber Gloves
Almost since the rubber vulcanization process was invented, rubber gloves have been used in industry, particularly the building trade, and in fishing as a means of protecting hands and arms from heavy equipment. The transition to the home took a little longer, but, and on the other, improved manufacturing techniques that have made rubber gloves lighter, more comfortable and, not least, at relatively low prices.
Of course, marketing has also played its part: different brightly colored gloves, new styles with non-slip pads, various designs, advertising by the main brands have all contributed to the growth in this sector, and have helped promote the sector for both male and female in-home usage.
TK Bosaeng has, over the past 30 years, invested heavily in the market, both at its manufacturing premises near Bangkok, Thailand and in supporting its recently launched Soson brand. Key to our production process is flexibility that allows us to vary shapes, sizes and colors very efficiently. As well as our own brand, we work closely with a number of customers to manufacture their own label product which can vary considerably from one specification to another. With complete conformity to rigorous, internationally-accepted standards, we have a enviable reputation for the quality and consistency of all our rubber products; a comprehensive and highly effective logistics network means we can take the order, produce and ship to the client in a very timely manner, at very competitive prices.

Natural Rubber Gloves Manufacturing
As we have reported before, the market for rubber gloves has expanded rapidly over the past few decades, as economic manufacturing processes have developed to meet a rising concern over health and safety in industry, the medical profession and in the home. Natural latex gloves have led the way with, in more recent times, synthetic versions adding to the market growth.
A lot has been said and written about the possible allergic risks from latex and this has, in part, been responsible for the growth in synthetic, particularly nitrile, gloves. TK Bosaeng has for many years been at the forefront of natural rubber gloves manufacturing and we take our responsibility for safety extremely highly. Thus, we employ expert consultants to ensure our selection of chemicals and compounds are of the highest quality, and our “recipes” are both natural and as allergy-free as possible. We use the Korean Testing & Research Institute (KTR) to advise, analyze, and report on our product formulations and to ensure the finished rubber gloves are user-friendly and harmless. Our chemical suppliers are obliged to provide Material Safety Data Sheets for all delivered batches and our aim, always, is to ensure safe practices cover materials selection right through to the manufacturing process.
Thus, we believe and are confident, that the natural rubber gloves produced by TK Bosaeng are of the safest and highest quality available. This ensures virtually everyone can use them and take advantage of the exceptional benefits and advantages that natural rubber provides – total barrier protection; perfect comfort; easy to put on; long life, strength and durability; excellent elasticity. As well, natural rubber gloves are truly environmentally friendly – as a natural product they degrade easily in landfill, and if incinerated produce mainly non-harmful water and carbon dioxide.
Whilst we appreciate that synthetic gloves have added to the market and have a role to play, we are totally committed, through investment in research and the latest technology, to the safe production of top quality natural rubber products. More information is available on our website at

Crystal ball time, as at TK Bosaeng we take a glance into the future for the rubber gloves market in the coming year…
We believe the demand globally for rubber gloves will grow by around 6% in 2016. Although we are experiencing a global economic slowdown, greater awareness of health and safety in both the home and the factory, coupled with continuing demand for medical gloves will contribute to the growth.
Natural rubber – latex – will continue to dominate the market, despite the growing demand for nitrile gloves, particularly in established markets. Natural products will cater, almost exclusively, for new and emerging markets.
In the first half of the year, consumers will benefit from low prices, with both raw materials and, particularly, crude oil and gas prices declining. Later in the year, we believe that the oil price will start to regain its losses and raw material prices and logistic costs will follow leading to a price recovery that the gloves market will be able to stand without any major impact on sales.
South East Asia, in particular Thailand and Malaysia, will continue to dominate the supply of latex, but raw rubber prices are under pressure from the growth in nitrile competition. We are firmly of the view that the future for natural rubber products lies in a commitment by the industry to innovation and new product development. The Thai Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association (TRGMA), in which TK Bosaeng plays a role, will continue to search out new opportunities through its relationship with regional governments and is committed to help fund research and development via Thailand’s Rubber Research Institute.
We are excited for the future, believing there are huge opportunities for the rubber goods markets and TK Bosaeng is determined to promote high quality, safe and reliable rubber gloves and other rubber products. The use of rubber gloves in industry has been increasingly prevalent for over a century, no more so than in the fishing, aquaculture and aqua farming industries. TK Bosaeng has been manufacturing all types of industrial gloves for over 30 years and is highly experienced and knowledgeable in the specific requirements for gloves for the fishing industries.
The need for rubber gloves starts with often dangerous marine fishing, where gloves require additional padding and strength for the handling of large heavy fish such as barracuda and tuna, as well as needing above-the-elbow protection. Those working in this industry toil long, hard days in all types of inclement weather, and they require gloves that are rugged, durable and comfortable.
Further along the chain, at the seafood processing plant, rubber gloves have become increasingly necessary as hygiene and safety standards have rightly improved. From the handling of the raw fish and seafood through to its final packing for retail sales, stringent quality standards for what is highly perishable food demand high levels of hygiene; this particularly includes rubber gloves that must be durable, resistant to splitting or puncturing but also flexible and tactile.
At Bosaeng’s we understand the various needs of the fishing industry sectors and manufacture top quality rubber gloves that are designed to match these requirements. We employ the highest quality standards throughout our manufacturing facilities in Thailand – as our ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation for our factory’s manufacturing processes bears testimony. We welcome all customers, large and small, and have a proud reputation for speedy, on-time delivery, anywhere in the world. If you would like more information about the company or gloves for fishing, including our recently launched consumer brand, Soson , please visit our website at www.tkbosaeng.com or contact us at:
At TK Bosaeng we firmly believe that the quality of our rubber goods – gloves, air cushions, air mattresses – is totally dependent on the quality of the raw materials used in the manufacturing process. This applies equally to our Maxpower and Soson -branded rubber products and to OEM lines, whether for household or industrial use, and is a cornerstone of our success over the past 30 years.
We seek only suppliers that share our quality aspirations, those that will work with us to ensure a consistency of product quality, a regularity of supply and best prices. This principle has been successfully applied to our sourcing of latex rubber, chemicals and packaging. Our aim, always, is to ensure every item used is certified, not hazardous to consumers, and of a quality that will always meet or exceed customer expectations.
There are, too, potential cost advantages from this approach. For example our 100% commitment to sourcing rubber in Thailand gives us a Certificate of Origin for the export of Thai-made goods, thus allowing buyers to claim a 0% import tax through the Free Trade Agreement.
We are a very active member of the Thai Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association (TRGMA) which aims to promote the industry’s products in overseas markets as well as raising quality standards within Thailand. Part of this process includes the sharing of supplier information; thus those suppliers offering the highest standards have the potential opportunity to work with all Thailand’s major rubber glove manufacturers.
Our ongoing pursuit of quality excellence, demonstrated by the accreditation and “marks” we have been awarded, requires an equal commitment from our suppliers and we always aim to build long term partnerships that benefits both parties. This arrangement ensures our customers receive competitively priced latex rubber gloves that are consistently strong, durable, protective and comfortable, as well as meeting European and Asian quality standards.
Our program of innovation and ongoing demand for quality improvements mean we are always interested to meet with potential new suppliers. If this is of interest, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

The growth in the rubber gloves industry is in no small part, to the versatility of the products at a time when there are increasing concerns over safety, hygiene, and protection. TK Bosaeng has been manufacturing rubber gloves for over 30 years and has developed specific products to meet the expanding market needs.
In the early days the major demand was from industry, especially Fishing, Construction and Agriculture, where requirements are for protection from heat exposure, chemical and detergent handling, and other heavy duty tasks. The gloves we developed for these purposes are durable, non-penetrative and flexible, and these have set the rubber industry standard for many years.
As technology developed, rubber glove manufacturers were able to produce lighter, more flexible gloves that met the needs of the leisure and domestic market – home gardening, household cleaning, hotels and restaurants, public area cleaning and so on. Most recently, we have launched our new Soson brand of rubber gloves that are specifically formulated to meet the demands in this sector, with slip resistant features, a snug fit and long, protective sleeves.
Over the past decade or so, hygiene in food handling has come under intense scrutiny and has opened up a new, dynamic sector for rubber gloves manufacturers. Again, technology has played its part, creating purpose-designed products, featuring snug fits and high resistance to tearing and water leakage.
Last, but not least, the medical and pharmaceutical professions have become a major user of gloves, with protection for both patient and practitioner paramount. High quality, ultra-slim, disposable gloves are now the norm across these industries, and demand continues to grow.
TK Bosaeng, through its Soson brand, is committed to developing high quality, competitively priced rubber gloves in all market sectors, and, with an extensive logistics network, can supply quickly and efficiently across the globe.

For over 30 years, TK Bosaeng has been manufacturing rubber gloves and boots for industrial and household usage and has established a strong reputation in the rubber goods market.
But of course, rubber goods manufacturing dates from a great deal earlier; indeed as early as the 16th century, rubber was used as an eraser, and by the early 1800’s its use has expanded considerably, particularly for use as a waterproof fabric, both for clothing and footwear.
In its early form, rubber had the severe disadvantage of becoming brittle in cold weather, a problem overcome in 1840 when, purely by accident, Charles Goodyear discovered the process of vulcanization – the chemical process of adding sulphur to create a more durable and elastic product. This led to a proliferation in rubber products, from the invention of the pneumatic tyre to rubber toys and balls for tennis and golf. Half a century later, in 1895, Michelin adapted the bicycle tyre and inner tube to the automobile and this, more than anything else, led to rubber’s outstanding position in the global market. Not long after, as awareness of hygiene and safety increased, came the introduction and growth in the rubber gloves market, both for household and industrial use.
Throughout this period virtually all rubber was tapped from the untamed rain forests of Brazil and this was a prime factor behind that country’s development through to the 1920’s. However, with rubber tree seeds smuggled out of the country and used to create efficient well-managed plantations in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and other South-East Asian countries, production switched dramatically.
More recently, as Malaysia has switched its economic development to a non-agricultural emphasis and Sri Lanka has suffered from political troubles, so Thailand has come to dominate the production of natural rubber. This was a main factor in TK Bosaeng’s decision to site its new manufacturing facilities in Thailand, close to the rubber plantations and to a logistics network that allows us to cost-effectively produce and distribute our new consumer range of Soson rubber gloves, boots, air mattresses and air cushions throughout the world.

The established Thai Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association (TRGMA) is testament to the importance and ambitions of rubber glove manufacturers both within Thailand and on the wider, global stage. It will provide a platform for discussion and exchange of views aimed at furthering the commercial objectives of its members and promoting a solid trade fraternity.
By offering this platform and encouraging a better common understanding between rubber glove manufacturers, the Thai Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association, TRGMA, will work to improve product quality across the industry and, at a time when the price of raw materials and manufacturing costs are rising, to actively and aggressively promote the competitiveness of Thai latex gloves across the world. To this end, the association has established close relationships with the Thai Rubber Association and with the country’s Ministry of Agriculture and will assist with research, development, logistics, export sales and other industry related issues.
As a leading manufacturer of rubber gloves, TK Bosaeng is an active and supportive participant in TRGMA, with representation on the Association’s Executive Committee. We have always been highly committed to delivering high quality rubber products and are proud of our quality accreditations that include the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Standard for our processes , the “S” Mark, covering anti-germ penetration and the “KS” Mark awarded in South Korea and South East Asia.
Our aim, through TRGMA, is to push for higher standards and to seek harmonization of the various standards in order to reduce confusion and improve credibility for the Thai rubber gloves industry. Whilst acknowledging the competitiveness within the Thai rubber gloves manufacturers industry, we firmly believe that by driving standards up, innovating and taking advantage of new technologies, all local manufacturers will benefit in sales and profitability.
